About the Fanlisting
I first found Laure Alexander's site in 1999. It was my senior year of high school, and I spent a large portion of my afternoon in the computer lab, looking up sites on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'd never heard of the term 'fanfiction'.
The first work I ever read by her was The Erotic Adventures of Willow and Spike, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I read, and printed, every story on her site, and then went searching for more. For years and to this day, I reccomend her to everyone who reads or wants to read fanfiction.
Laure was one of the authors who inspired me to write fanfiction, and to try to make it worth reading. I wanted people to enjoy my writing as much as I enjoyed hers. I didn't send her feedback until quite some time later, and it never felt like enough to truly express how much her work meant to me.
I created this fanlisting as a thank you gift to Laure. I found that The Fanlistings were severely lacking in the Fanfiction author department, and that was just wrong in my opinion. And when I thought how many authors deserve their own fanlistings, hers was the first to come to mind.
Laure writes heavy material. Her work is not for the faint of heart. But mixed in with the naughty good fun are characters with serious emotions, who go through serious experiences. She can make you laugh, she can make you cry, she can make you hate a character until you can't stand to see their face on the screen, then in the next chapter love them all over again. She is a truly amazing author.
If you agree even half heartedly with me, I urge you to join, and show your support to this amazing woman.
